We at CutnUp Hair are working to make our site www.cutnuphair.com accessible to people with disabilities.

What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG 2.1 guidelines, and have made the site accessible to the level of AA. This site's contents have been adapted to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard use. As part of this effort, we have also:

 

  • Used the Accessibility Wizard to find and fix potential accessibility issues

  • Set the language of the site 

  • Set the content order of the site’s pages

  • Defined clear heading structures on all of the site’s pages

  • Added alternative text to images

  • Implemented color combinations that meet the required color contrast

  • Reduced the use of motion on the site

  • Ensured all videos, audio, and files on the site are accessible

Accessibility arrangements in the organization

At CutnUp Hair, we are committed to providing an inclusive and accessible experience for all our customers. We have implemented a number of accessibility features throughout our locations, from the parking lot to the point of service.

Getting Here:

  • Parking: 3 designated accessible parking spaces are available close to the main entrance. These spaces are clearly marked with the international symbol of access (ISA).

 

Entering Our Facilities:

  • Entrance: Our main entrance is accessible with a sidewalk ramp.

  • Entrance Doorway: Doorways are wide enough for wheelchairs and require the ability to pull.

  • Steps: Upon entering the salon suite there are 5 descending steps to the entry.

  • Suite Entrance: Doorways are wide enough for wheelchairs and require the ability to pull.

  • Suite: CutnUp Hair has an individual suite within a salon studio. The suite entrance is accessible; however, hallways to the shampoo suite and restrooms are narrow and may require additional assistance.

  • Flooring: The floors throughout our facilities are level and have a non-slip surface.

 

Inside Our Facilities:

  • Signage: Signage is clear, concise, and easy to read, with contrasting colors and large fonts. 

  • Lighting: Our facilities have bright and even lighting throughout.

  • Restrooms: Accessible restrooms are available within the studio.
